1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the RCCG Living Faith Business Hub ("the Hub"), operated by RCCG Living Faith Parish, Sunderland, a registered charity (Charity Number 1180182) with the Charity Commission for England and Wales. By using the Hub, whether as a visitor, a business owner, or an administrator, you agree to these Terms.

2. What the Hub Is

The Hub is a non-commercial community business directory that connects the public with businesses operated by members of RCCG Living Faith, Sunderland. It is operated as a charitable community service in furtherance of the church's charitable objects. The Hub is not a marketplace, does not facilitate transactions, does not process payments, does not generate trading income, and does not endorse or guarantee the quality of any listed business's products or services.

3. Eligibility for Listing

To be listed in the Hub, a business owner must:

  • Be a member or regular attendee of RCCG Living Faith, Sunderland.
  • Receive an invitation from a Hub administrator.
  • Complete the application process, including eligibility verification, business classification, and compliance declarations.
  • Have their application approved by a Hub administrator.

Listing in the Hub is at the discretion of the church administration and may be refused or revoked at any time.

4. Business Owner Responsibilities

If you are a listed business owner, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information about your business.
  • Keep your listing information up to date.
  • Respond to reconfirmation requests in a timely manner.
  • Comply with all applicable UK laws and regulations relevant to your business.
  • Not use the Hub to promote illegal, fraudulent, or misleading services.
  • Treat enquiries received through the Hub professionally and respectfully.

5. Public Visitors

Visitors may browse the directory and submit enquiries to listed businesses without creating an account. When submitting an enquiry, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate contact information.
  • Not use the enquiry system for spam, harassment, or any unlawful purpose.
  • Accept that your enquiry details will be shared with the relevant business owner.

6. Reporting Problems

Anyone may report a concern about a listed business using the Report a Problem feature. Reports are reviewed by Hub administrators. We take all reports seriously but make no guarantee of a specific outcome. False or malicious reports may result in restrictions on your ability to use the Hub.

7. Content and Intellectual Property

Business owners retain ownership of the content they submit (descriptions, images, logos). By submitting content to the Hub, you grant RCCG Living Faith Parish a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display that content as part of the directory for as long as your listing is active.

You must not submit content that infringes the intellectual property rights of others, is defamatory, or is otherwise unlawful.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Hub is provided on an "as is" basis. RCCG Living Faith Parish does not guarantee the accuracy of business listings, the availability of the Hub, or the quality of any services offered by listed businesses.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RCCG Living Faith Parish shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the Hub or your dealings with any listed business.

9. Suspension and Removal

We reserve the right to suspend or remove any business listing at any time if we believe the listing violates these Terms, is inaccurate, or is no longer appropriate for the directory. Business owners will be notified of any suspension or removal action.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be published on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Hub after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Business owners may be asked to reconfirm acceptance of material changes.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
